Our Terms of Service, often called “ToS,” are the legal agreements between Twitch and those who use our service. These apply to every person who uses Twitch, regardless of whether they have a registered account.

Events Code of Conduct

The Events Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for event participants’ behavior as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior. This policy applies to all official Twitch events and related social events.

Privacy Notice

Twitch values the privacy of its users. Our Privacy Notice describes how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from and about you.

The California Privacy Notice supplements the Twitch Privacy Notice and outlines additional disclosures required by the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California “Shine the Light” Law.

Digital Millennium Copyright Act

Twitch is committed to supporting creators, and asks our users to respect the intellectual property rights of creative artists and those who own or control copyrights. If you use another person’s intellectual property in your content, they can send Twitch a takedown notification. It is our policy to respond to notifications of claimed copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and related global laws.

Please note, reports of DMCA violations are evaluated separately from reported violations of the Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

Trademark Policy and Guidelines

Using a trademark without the trademark owner’s permission on the Twitch Services in a manner that may mislead or confuse others about who you are, or your brand affiliation, may violate our Trademark Policy. Our Trademark Guidelines detail how and when it is acceptable to use Twitch Brand Assets.

Terms of Sale

Our Terms of Sales apply to purchases of Twitch products, services, and digital content such as subscriptions, gifts, and Bits.

Bits Acceptable Use Policy

Bits are digital content that can only be purchased from Twitch. The Bits Acceptable Use Policy applies to any Twitch creator or viewer that purchases, obtains, interacts with, or otherwise uses Bits, including Bits in Extensions, and outlines the ground rules when using Bits.

Channel Points Acceptable Use Policy

Channel Points are digital content that can be earned and redeemed by Twitch account holders on certain Twitch channels. This Policy applies to any Twitch creator or user that offers, earns, obtains, interacts with, redeems, or otherwise uses Channel Points.

Predictions Terms and Conditions
